So the First week has moved along quite Well were able to get the car completely torn down and all the necessary parts sent out for paint and carbon fiber. We go the seats over to the interior department and they have started building the customs seats, re wraping the steering wheel and re styling the arm rest in the car. We Dropped of the external parts to get painted in a matte carbine Red and the custom mirrors painted to the theme of the car. The carbon parts have been order and shipped out and hopefully we wont have any customs issues getting them here. Full builds are fun but to be honest it hard to stick to a plan when parts get back ordered or delayed. DB Carbon Has to produce a lots of the parts we needed and its going to have to be switched to Hydro Dipping.

The problem with the industry today is no one makes anything anymore. Not to many companies have the parts on the shelf ready to go. If for example you have to wait 3 months for a company to produce your order it should state so in big letters on their web site informing you that "we don't stock the parts" . With Full build everything need to work in a percise ballet of coordination, sub contractors, parts suppliers and its a dance. I have a time line when each phase of the car and parts need to arrive and dead lines mean everything to us. We give people our word that the work we do is to the best quality that money can buy. No don't get me wrong we are not perfect by any-means but we are detailed, resourceful and precise. We stick to the time line because we normally have another build coming in behind. a 1-3 day delay or a full week can set up appoint problems for the entire next month. When you car is done once, done right, and done on time that is how we keep customer happy and coming back.
